It is not just about topping up the refrigerant. We first vacuum the system to check for leaks. Then we recover the old charge, flush the lines, add fresh oil, UV dye, and the exact amount of refrigerant using our machine for R134a, R1234yf, and R744. Ozone disinfection of the cabin is an optional add-on.

Standard servicing and recharge usually take up to 60 minutes while you wait. If a repair is needed, such as a compressor or hose replacement, it can take longer, and we always tell you in advance.

R134a is the classic for cars made before 2017. Newer vehicles must use the more eco-friendly R1234yf with a lower environmental impact. R744 (CO₂) is the latest type used in premium EVs and hybrids (Škoda Enyaq, VW ID.4, Audi e-tron) - it has the lowest climate impact (GWP = 1) but requires higher working pressures and specialized equipment. The key rule: refrigerants must never be mixed - the type is determined by the vehicle manufacturer. We have a machine for all three types.

Windows fogging up in winter? The A/C dries the air effectively. More importantly, if you do not run it all winter, the seals in the system dry out and refrigerant can leak in spring. Run it for at least 15 minutes a week so the oil circulates and the seals stay supple. It is the cheapest way to prevent expensive repairs.

You notice a musty smell from the vents, the car does not cool properly, or the compressor starts rattling. Other warning signs include fogged-up windows even with the A/C on and increased noise. Do not wait until it fails completely - neglected servicing often ends in compressor failure.

Paid for a recharge elsewhere and still sweating? The problem could be a clogged cabin filter, a cracked hose, a faulty expansion valve, a fan malfunction, or a burned-out compressor. We do not guess. We use diagnostics, measure the pressures, and find the real cause. No blind part swapping.

You always know the price upfront. For the older R134a refrigerant, expect €62 – €102. The newer R1234yf costs €102 – €184. For the latest R744 (CO₂), we have a flat rate of €204. Labor is included. No hidden fees.

Hissing is a clear sign that refrigerant is escaping. It could be a leaky hose, condenser, evaporator, or compressor clutch. Once all the refrigerant is gone, the compressor runs dry and destroys itself. Using a UV lamp, we pinpoint the exact leak location - this is one you don't want to put off.
